🚀 Terraform Registry MCP Server

The Terraform Registry MCP Server is a tool for managing Terraform registry resources and services. It provides interfaces via the MCP protocol, allowing other systems to query and manipulate Terraform resources.

🚀 Quick Start

Installation in Cursor

1. Open the terminal.
2. Run the following commands:

npm install
npm start

Installation in Claude Desktop

1. Set environment variables:

export LOG_LEVEL="debug"
export REQUEST_TIMEOUT_MS="15000"

2. Start the server:

npm start

Core Registry Tools

• getProvider: Get detailed information about a specified provider.
• getResource: Get information about a specific resource.
• listResources: List all available resources.
• verifyResource: Verify the validity of a resource.

Tools Requiring TFC Tokens

• getTerraformCloudWorkspaces: Get the user's list of workspaces.
• triggerRun: Manually trigger a run.
• getRunStatus: Get the status of a specified run.
• cancelRun: Cancel an ongoing run.

Currently, there is a known issue with the getPrompt function, which may cause the server to crash. It is recommended to use listPrompts to view available prompts.
