An implementation of an MCP server that uses Unipile to access messages from multiple messaging platforms.

🚀 Quick Start

This is an implementation of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides integration with the Unipile messaging platform. This server enables AI models to interact with messages from various messaging platforms (mobile, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Slack, Twitter, Telegram, Instagram, Messenger) through a standardized interface.

Unipile Subscription

To use the Unipile service, you need to subscribe. I'm not funded by Unipile to do this; I'm just a user who likes using Unipile because it works well. For detailed information about subscriptions and features, please visit the Unipile Messaging API page.

Communication Capabilities

With Unipile, you can communicate seamlessly with various social platforms. This includes popular messaging services such as:

• LinkedIn: Interact with professional contacts, send messages, and manage your LinkedIn interactions through the Unipile interface.
• WhatsApp: Send and receive messages, manage chats, and stay connected with your contacts.
• Instagram: Interact with followers, reply to direct messages, and manage your Instagram messages.
• Messenger: Communicate with friends and family via Facebook Messenger.
• Telegram: Access Telegram chats and messages effortlessly.

The integration of Unipile with these platforms allows for a unified communication experience, making it easier to manage interactions across different services. Resources

The server exposes the following resources:

• unipile://messages: A dynamic resource that provides access to messages from connected messaging platforms.

Example Prompts

Tools

The server provides several tools for accessing Unipile data:

Message Management Tool

• unipile_get_chat_messages
  • Retrieve all messages from a specific chat with pagination support.
  • Input: chat_id (required), batch_size (optional, default: 100).
  • Return: An array of message objects.

📦 Installation

You need a Unipile DSN and an API key. These can be obtained from your Unipile dashboard.

Environment Variables

• UNIPILE_DSN: Your Unipile DSN (e.g., api8.unipile.com:13851).
• UNIPILE_API_KEY: Your Unipile API key.

Note: Keep your API key secure and never commit it to version control.

Docker Installation

You can pull the image from Docker Hub or build it locally. The image is built for the Linux platform.

Multi - platform Release

To release the project as a multi - platform distribution:

pip wheel -w wheels/ .
