Configuration
The server can be configured via environment variables in the .env
file:
JOURNAL_DIR
: Directory to save journal files (Default: ~/Documents/journal).FILENAME_PREFIX
: Prefix for filenames (Default: "journal").FILE_EXTENSION
: Extension for journal files (Default: ".md"). If not specified, default values will be used.
File Structure
Journal entries are saved in the following structure:

Entry Format
Each journal entry includes:
- Date header
- Timestamped conversation records
- Sentiment analysis
- Reflections and recurring themes
