Configuration

The server can be configured via environment variables:

• MARGINALIA_API_KEY: Your Marginalia Search API key (optional, default is public access). Contact kontakt@marginalia.nu to obtain a dedicated API key.

Usage

The server provides the following MCP tools:

Search

Search the internet using the following parameters with Marginalia Search:

• query (required): The search query string.
• index (optional): The search index number (corresponding to the dropdown in the main GUI).
• count (optional): The number of results to return (1 - 100, default: 10).

Example usage via MCP:

The Say MCP server provides text-to-speech functionality, supporting multiple voices and languages. Available tools:

• speak: Read text using a specified voice and rate.
• list_voices: List all available text-to-speech voices.
