This MCP (Model Context Protocol) server provides tools to generate videos from text prompts and/or images using AI image generation models.

📦 Installation

1. Clone this repository.
2. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Create a .env file and set the FAL.AI API key:

   FAL_KEY=your_fal_key_here
   

   You can obtain the API key from FAL.AI.

Run the server directly:

npm start

generate-video

Generate a video from a text prompt and/or an image using an AI model.

Parameters:

• prompt (required): A text description of the video content to be generated.
• image_url (optional): The URL of the video start image (URL or base64 data URI).
• end_image_url (optional): The URL of the video end image (URL or base64 data URI).
• aspect_ratio (default "16:9"): The aspect ratio of the video ("16:9", "9:16", "4:3", "2.39:1").
• resolution (default "720p"): The video resolution ("720p", "1080p", "4k").
• fps (default 30): The frame rate.
• duration (optional): The video duration (in seconds).
• loop (default false): Whether to loop the video.

View the video generation status.

Parameters:

• video_id (required): The ID of the video to check.

📊 Model Comparison

⚠️ Important Note

• Both models use FAL.AI credits, and the costs may vary.
• High-resolution and long-duration videos consume more credits.
• Ensure that the API key is valid and correctly set.

🔧 Troubleshooting

API Key Error

Check if the environment variable FAL_KEY is correctly set. You can also configure it directly in the Claude Desktop settings file.

Video Generation Failure

If a video generation error occurs, check the detailed error message and:

1. Ensure that the API key is valid.
2. Check if your account has enough credits.
3. Avoid using inappropriate prompts or images.
4. Wait for a moment before retrying.
