🚀 Meeting Management Platform (MCP) Integration Guide

This guide details how to integrate and utilize the Meeting Management Platform (MCP), covering interactions with the Claude desktop client, development environment configuration, and key features such as log management.

🚀 Quick Start

Integration with Claude Desktop

1. Open the Claude application.
2. Navigate to the settings interface.
3. Select "Model Context Protocol".
4. Add a new server configuration:
   • Name: Enter "Meeting Management Platform MCP".
   • Type: Select "sse".
   • Service Address: Fill in "http://localhost:7017/mcp".
   • Optional: Add header information required for authentication.

Log Management

The service includes an optimized logging feature:

npm run cleanup

This command:

• Cleans up unnecessary log files and cached data.
• Filters out duplicate heartbeat information.
• Reduces disk usage while retaining important log information.
• Maintains a small log footprint for long-running services.

Authentication

The service requires an API key in the "x-api-key" header for authentication. You can set the default key in the configuration file.

Additionally, many tools (named "WithCredentials") can directly accept the API key as a parameter without passing it through the header.

QR Code Generator API Key Configuration

The QR code generation tool requires a key from the QR Code AI API. Here are several ways to provide it:

1. Enter directly in the prompt: When using the generateQRCode tool, include the API key directly in the prompt text, for example: "Generate a QR code for my website https://example.com, API key: qrc_your_key_here".

2. Pass as a parameter: When calling the generateQRCode tool, provide the apiKey parameter.

3. Environment variable: Set the QRCODE_API_KEY environment variable.

4. Claude desktop configuration: Add the key to your Claude desktop configuration file:

   • Mac/Linux system path: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json.
   • Windows system path: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json.
