🚀 CVE-Search MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for querying the CVE-Search API. This server provides comprehensive access to CVE-Search, including browsing vendors and products, retrieving vulnerabilities for specific CVE-IDs, and getting the latest 30 CVEs with CAPEC, CWE, and CPE extensions.

• Retrieve a JSON file of all vendors.
• Retrieve a JSON file of all products associated with a specific vendor.
• Retrieve a JSON file of vulnerability information corresponding to a specific vendor and product.
• Retrieve a JSON file of detailed information for a specific CVE-ID.
• Retrieve a JSON file of the latest 30 CVEs including CAPEC, CWE, and CPE extensions.
• Retrieve information about the current database and its update time.

📦 Installation

Requirements

• Python version 3.10+
• uv tool
• Cline, Roo Code, etc.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Clone this repository.

git clone https://github.com/roadwy/cve-search_mcp.git

2. Install the dependencies.

cd cve-search_mcp
uv sync

3. Add the following content to your MCP client (e.g., VSCode with Cline/Roo Code) configuration file, and change "YOU_CVE_SEARCH_MCP_DIR_PATH" to your own directory path.
