📦 Installation

1. Ensure that Python 3.10 or a higher version is installed.
2. Install the dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Integration into Claude Desktop

1. Configure your MCP settings in Claude Desktop by adding the following to your MCP configuration:

2. Ensure that the tool path in the settings is correct and is an absolute path.

Error Handling

All tools include appropriate error handling and will return an error message when a problem occurs:

Troubleshooting

If the MCP server does not work in Claude Desktop:

1. Ensure that the server is running - you should see output when the script starts.
2. Verify that the path in the settings is correct and is an absolute path.
3. Ensure that Python 3.10+ is included in the system PATH.
4. Ensure that all dependencies are installed.
5. Try restarting Claude Desktop.
6. Check the logs for error messages.

Rate Limiting

This tool uses the free CoinGecko API, which has rate limits. Note that frequent requests may be restricted by the API.
