🚀 LetzAI MCP Setup Guide

This guide will walk you through the installation and configuration of LetzAI MCP (Model Context Protocol) and teach you how to use it in image generation.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure the following conditions are met:

• Node.js is installed. You can download it from the Node.js official website.
• Claude Desktop Application is installed. If not, you can download it from Claude Desktop App.
• LetzAI API Key. Visit LetzAI API to obtain it.

📦 Installation

1. Download the Git Folder

Download the LetzAI MCP project repository to your desktop or another location outside the download folder, for example:

C:\\Users\\username\\desktop

Or clone the repository using the git clone command:

git clone <repository-url> C:\\Users\\username\\desktop

2. Install Dependencies

Switch to the project folder in the terminal or command prompt:

cd C:\\Users\\username\\desktop

Run the following command to install all the necessary dependencies:

npm install

3. Compile the Project

Run the compilation command using Node.js:

node compile

Or, if you need to generate a production version:

node compile --prod

4. Restart the Claude Application

To apply the new configuration, restart the Claude desktop application.

5. Configure MCP Settings

Open the Claude settings menu and navigate to Model > API Keys. Add the following to the environment variables section:

• LETZAI_API_KEY: Replace with your LetzAI API Key.
• LETZAI_MCP_SERVER_URL: Specify the MCP server address (optional, default is https://mcp.letz.ai).

6. Run the MCP Server

Start the MCP service:

node server.js

Basic Usage

• Image Generation:

generate-image "photo of @mischstrotz 穿着骑士服喝啤酒"

• Image Upscaling:

upscale-image --strength=1 [https://letz.ai/image/d6a67077-f156-46d7-a1a2-1dc49e83dd91]

Troubleshooting

• Node.js Not Found: Confirm that Node.js is installed correctly and added to the system PATH environment variable.
• API Key Error: Check if the LetzAI API Key is correctly configured in the environment variable LETZAI_API_KEY.
• File Path Issue: Ensure that the file path of index.js provided to the server is absolutely correct. Use the full path if unsure.
