📦 Installation

Using Clinde (Recommended)

Using the Cline desktop application is the simplest way to run the Resend MCP server. Just download and install Cline, then:

1. Open the Cline application.
2. Navigate to the "Servers" page.
3. Find resend-mcp and click "Install".

That's it! Without any technical knowledge, Cline will automatically complete all installation and configuration for you.

Available Tools

• send_email - Send an email using the Resend API
  • Input:
    • to (string): Recipient's email address
    • subject (string): Email subject line
    • content (string): Plain text email body content
    • from (string, optional): Sender's email address (if not provided, uses SENDER_EMAIL_ADDRESS)
    • replyTo (array, optional): List of reply-to email addresses (if not provided, uses REPLY_TO_EMAIL_ADDRESSES)
    • scheduledAt (string, optional): Scheduled email delivery time
    • attachments (array, optional): List of attachments, each attachment must contain:
      • filename (string): Attachment file name
      • localPath (string): Absolute path to the local file on the computer (required if remoteUrl is not provided)
      • remoteUrl (string): URL of the file on the internet (required if localPath is not provided)

Obtaining an API Key

1. Register a Resend account on the Resend official website.
2. Generate your API key from the Resend console.

⚠️ Important Note

The free tier provides a service of 3000 emails per month.
