🚀 Art Search API README

This project provides a set of APIs for searching artworks and artists, as well as generating an interactive HTML art gallery. It offers a convenient way to access art - related information.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Ensure you have npx installed to run the commands.
• For using in Claude Desktop, make sure you have the appropriate configuration.

Configuration

In Claude Desktop

Add the following content to claude_desktop_config.json:

🔍 Artwork Search (search - for - artwork)

Search for specific artworks by artist name or artwork title.

• Input:
  • title (string): The title of the artwork to search for.
  • artist (string, optional): The name of the artist associated with the artwork.
  • limit (number, optional, default: 10): The number of results to return.
  • page (number, optional, default: 1): The page of results to display.

🔍 Artist Search (search - for - artist)

Search for specific artists by their name.

• Input:
  • name (string): The name of the artist to search for.
  • limit (number, optional, default: 10): The number of results to return.

🔍 Get Artwork by Artist (get - artwork - by - artist)

Find artworks by an artist's ID.

• Input:
  • id (number): The ID of the artist to search for.

  • page (number, optional, default: 1): The page of results to display.

🎨 Art Gallery Prompt (art - gallery)

In the Claude Desktop application, combine this prompt with the name of a selected artist to generate an interactive HTML art gallery displaying their works.

⚠️ Important Note

Images are not displayed in Claude Desktop for security reasons. You can view the HTML file in a browser after downloading it.
