🚀 GPTDARR - Media Center Management Tool (Integrated with Sonarr & Radarr)

GPTDARR is an AI server tool based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), designed specifically to integrate with Sonarr and Radarr. It enables AI assistants to search for, add, and manage TV shows and movies in your media library.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

Node.js version 18 or higher.
Sonarr and Radarr are correctly installed and running.
A chat client that supports the MCP protocol (e.g., 5ire, Claude).

Installation and Configuration

Run the interactive configuration wizard:
```
npx gptdarr setup
```
The wizard will guide you through the following settings:
- Sonarr's URL and API key.
- Radarr's URL and API key.
- Quality profiles for both services.
- The root directory for media storage.
- Logging preferences.
After completing the configuration, the wizard will generate an NPX command for recommended use. Copy this command.
In your MCP-compatible chat client (e.g., 5ire):
- Go to Tools > New > Command.
- Paste the copied command.
- Your chat client can now start and communicate with the GPTDarr MCP server.
⚠️ Important Note
- After setup, use the provided system prompt located at llm_system_prompt.txt.
- This prompt contains key instructions for the AI assistant to interact with Radarr and Sonarr.
- The prompt ensures consistent handling of TV show and movie requests, status reporting, and efficient content management.

Logging

Logs are mainly for development purposes, and it is recommended to disable them during setup.

Records of content searches.
Records of adding TV shows and movies.
Logs of other operations. The log files are located in the default path.
