🚀 Quick Start

KiMCP serves as an MCP server, leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to seamlessly integrate various domestic APIs into LLM applications. This integration allows for a wide - range of search and routing functions.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Claude Desktop
• uv (Python package manager)
• Naver API Key
• Kakao API Key
• SK Open API Key

Steps

1. Clone the repository

   uv run mcp clone main.py
   

2. Configure environment variables
   • Open the main.py file.
   • Add the following code at the end of the file:

     from modelcontextprotocol import environment
     environment.set("naver_api_key", "your_naver_api_key_here")
     environment.set("kakao_api_key", "your_kakao_api_key_here")
     environment.set("tmap_api_key", "your_tmap_api_key_here")
     

3. Install to Claude Desktop

   uv run mcp install main.py
   

4. Restart Claude Desktop to apply changes

🔧 Technical Details

To test and develop, run the MCP checker:

uv run mcp dev main.py
