This server implements the Model Context Protocol to provide payment functionality through Skyfire's API. It exposes a tool make_payment that allows authorized clients to initiate payment requests to Skyfire users.

make_payment

Send a payment to a specified Skyfire user.

Parameters:

• receiverUsername (string): The username of the payee.
• amount (string): The payment amount.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (compatible with ES2022)
• TypeScript
• A valid Skyfire API key

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

git clone <repository-url>
cd mcp-server-skyfire

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file in the root directory and add your Skyfire API key:

SKYFIRE_API_KEY=your_api_key_here

🔧 Building the Project

To build the project:

npm run build

This will:

• Compile TypeScript to JavaScript.
• Make the output files executable.
• Place the built files in the ./build directory.

Running the Server

The server runs on standard input/output (stdio). After building, you can run it using the following command:

./build/index.js

Or via an npm script:
