🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

Run the following command to install all dependencies:

poetry install

1. Call MCP Tools via API

Start the Server

Use the following command to start the FastAPI server:

python mcp-api-server.py

The server will start running at http://localhost:8080.

Interface

Open mcp-api-client.html in your browser to view the interface.

API Endpoints

• GET /ping - pong?prompt_name=<prompt_name>: Get the specified prompt.
• POST /ping - pong: Call MCP tool commands (ping, pong, count).

2. Call MCP Tools via SSE Transmission

The following example demonstrates how to communicate with the MCP server using Server - Sent Events (SSE).

Start the SSE Server

Run the following command to start the SSE server:

python mcp-sse-server.py

Run the SSE Client

Run the following command to start the SSE client:

python mcp-sse-client.py

Example Output

Enter a command (e.g., 'ping', 'pong', 'count') or type 'exit' to quit:
>>> ping
Sending command: ping
Result: pong
>>> pong
Sending command: pong
Result: ping
