📦 Installation

Requirements

• Node.js version 20.17 or higher
• Gemini API key
• Open Router API key

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

git clone git@github.com:Kuon-dev/advanced-reason-mcp.git
cd advanced-reason-mcp

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

Build the Project

Use the following command to build the project:

node ./bin/build.mjs

This will create the necessary files in the dist directory.

Configuration

Configure the tool through the claude_desktop_config.json settings in the project's configuration:

The OPENROUTER_MODEL environment variable is optional. When left empty, it defaults to deepseek/deepseek-r1:free.

Limitations

⚠️ Important Note

• The AI model cannot access your project context. Please keep this in mind.
• If the task is too complex, the content may become very long, causing the MCP to time out and return no response.
