🔧 Development

1. Set environment variables:

Create a .env file in the root directory and set the path to your chat database.

CHAT_DB_PATH=Path to the chat database

2. Install dependencies:

pnpm install

Build the server:

pnpm build

Develop with automatic rebuild:

pnpm watch

📦 Installation

When using with Claude Desktop, add the following server configuration:

On MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Debugging

Since MCP servers communicate via stdio, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using MCP Inspector, which can be run with the following script:

pnpm inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access browser debugging tools.
