1. Stock Price Data Query

• Query stock price data for a specific period.
• Flexibly specify the start and end dates.
• If no dates are specified, the query is based on the current date.

2. Stock Information Query

• Provide basic information such as company name, sector, and industry.
• Offer financial - related information such as market capitalization and stock price.
• Provide company overview and description.

3. Current Date/Time Information

• Provide current date and time information for various time zones.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Python version 3.10 or higher.
• The MCP library needs to be installed.

Installation on Mac/Linux

1. Install the MCP package:

   pip install mcp
   

2. Start the MCP server:

   mcp-server start
   

Installation on Windows

1. Install Python and open the command prompt.
2. Install the MCP package:

   pip install mcp
   

3. Start the MCP server:

   mcp-server start

⚠️ Important Note

The yfinance library uses an unofficial API, so its operation may be interrupted due to changes in Yahoo Finance's terms of service. Since it is a free API, requests may be limited if the frequency is too high. There may be a slight delay compared to real - time data.
