📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Python >=3.10
• MCP SDK >= 1.2.0
• uv

Install UV

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

Create a Virtual Environment

# Create a virtual environment
uv venv

# Activate the virtual environment
# Linux/MacOS
source .venv/bin/activate
# Windows
# .venv\Scripts\activate

# Install dependencies
uv pip install .

🛠️ Configure Claude (Desktop Version)

Download the Claude desktop version from here.

Steps

1. Open the Claude desktop settings.

2. Select Edit Config.

3. Open the Claude application configuration file located at ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json and copy the following content into this file.

You need three things:

1. The absolute path to /uv; for example, which uv.
2. The absolute path to the maestro-mcp repository.
3. The Maestro API key.

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

• Restart Claude after modifying claude_desktop_config.json or the source code.

1. Launch the Claude desktop version.
2. Find the hammer icon.
3. View the available MCP tools.
4. Prompt Claude:
   • "Get the latest Bitcoin block."
   • "Get Bitcoin blockchain information."

⚠️ Important Note

Restart Claude after modifying claude_desktop_config.json or the source code.

📄 Supported Endpoints

• /v0/blocks: Get the latest blocks.
