The MCP Radar and Sonarr Server is an integrated media center platform that combines radar and Sonarr functionality, enabling you to efficiently manage your media library.

  • Monitor disk space.
  • Check system operation status.

📦 Installation

Local Installation

1. Install dependencies:

pnpm install

Global Installation

To install the MCParr server globally on your system:

pnpm run install-global

This will make the mcparr command globally available in your terminal.

🔧 Configuration

1. Set environment variables:

export RADARR_URL=http://your-radarr-instance:7878
export RADARR_API_KEY=your-radarr-api-key
export SONARR_URL=http://your-sonarr-instance:8989
export SONARR_API_KEY=your-sonarr-api-key

Alternatively, create a .env file in the project directory containing these variables.

Basic Usage

Local Run

Build and start the server:

pnpm run build
pnpm start

Run in development mode:

pnpm run dev

Global Run

If globally installed, you can run directly:

mcparr

Search Media

Search for movies or TV shows with filters:

Request Download

Request the download of a specific media:

Check Status

Check the status of a specific media:

Get System Status

Get the operational status information of the selected system:

}

The response includes:

• System status (version, uptime, etc.)
• Disk space information
• Health check results

Resources

Media is exposed as resources with the following URI schemes:

• Movies: radarr://movie/{id}
• TV shows: sonarr://series/{id} Each resource includes:
• Title
• Year
• Current status
