🚀 AdsPower Local API MCP Server Python

This is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that allows Large Language Models (LLMs) to interact with AdsPower browsers. This server enables LLMs to control browser startup, create new browser instances, and update fingerprint configurations.

📦 Installation

System Requirements

• AdsPower
• Python 3.10 or higher installed.

Environment Configuration and uv Installation

First, install uv and set up your Python development environment as follows:

MacOS/Linux

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

Windows

powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Development Steps

# Clone the code repository
git clone https://github.com/AdsPower/local-api-mcp-python.git

# Navigate to the project directory
cd local-api-mcp-python

# Create and activate a virtual environment
uv venv
source .venv/bin/activate

# Install dependencies
uv pip install .

Configure Claude Desktop to Use This Server

Add the following configuration to your claude_desktop_config.json file:

• For MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• For Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
