Calva MCP Server bridges the gap between AI assistants and your REPL by implementing the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When your AI assistant needs a better understanding of the code, it can execute it in your REPL. The results are then returned to the AI, enabling it to grasp the actual data shapes and function behaviors.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Connect Calva to your Clojure/ClojureScript project.
2. Execute the command: Calva MCP Server: Start Socket Server.
3. In the .vscode/mcp.json file, use the Start button to start the "calva" server.
4. Enable it in the settings if you want the AI to have full REPL permissions.

How It Works

1. When you write code, the AI connects to Calva via the MCP protocol.
2. The AI can directly call the REPL to execute code snippets.
3. The execution results are returned to the AI to help it understand the actual behavior of the code.
4. You always maintain control over the entire process.
