🚀 VS Code MCP Server Extension

This extension enables Claude and other MCP clients to code directly within VS Code. It's similar to projects implemented using VS Code's built - in features, rather than being like what VSCode uses.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Configure the MCP client: Set the MCP server address to http://localhost:3000/mcp in the client.
2. Start the server: Click the MCP server icon in the VS Code status bar to enable the service.
3. Connection test: Ensure that the server is started and the network connection is normal.

  • List file contents.
  • Search for symbols (functions, classes, etc.).
  • Create new files.
  • Replace the content of specific lines.

  • Get warning and error information.
  • Support multiple severity levels (error, warning, information, hint).

  • Execute shell commands in VS Code's integrated terminal.
  • Support specifying the working directory.

Basic Usage
