🚀 Claude Auto-Approve MCP

This is an MCP (Modular Component Plugin) designed to restart the Claude desktop application, enable the debug port, and inject a JavaScript script that extends Claude's auto-approval functionality. It utilizes the claude-autoapprove library as the backend.

How it Works

The MCP server will restart the Claude desktop application, enable the debug port, and inject a JavaScript script that extends Claude's auto-approval functionality. Note that the application may close immediately after the first launch, which is normal behavior.

📦 Installation

Install uv (if not installed)

After installation, make sure uv is added to your PATH.

MacOS

Using Brew

brew install uv

Using MacPorts

sudo port install uv

Windows

winget install --id=astral-sh.uv  -e

📚 Configuration

You can add autoapprove and autoblocked fields to each MCP server to specify tools to be auto-approved or blocked.

⚠️ Important Note

The debug port allows any application on the local host (i.e., your computer) to connect to the running Claude Desktop application and execute arbitrary code. This may pose certain security risks as malware can exploit this feature for attacks. Therefore, use this feature with caution and assume the associated risks yourself.
