🚀 WooCommerce MCP Server (HTTP/Express)

This server provides a JSON-RPC 2.0 interface via HTTP to interact with WooCommerce.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

1. Clone the repository (if you haven't already).
2. Navigate to the directory:

   cd woocommerce-mcp-server-http
   

3. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

4. Create a .env file: Create a file named .env in this directory and add the following variables, replacing the placeholder values with your actual credentials:

   # Your WooCommerce site URL
   WORDPRESS_SITE_URL=https://your-woocommerce-site.com
   
   # WooCommerce API keys
   WOOCOMMERCE_CONSUMER_KEY=ck_your_consumer_key
   WOOCOMMERCE_CONSUMER_SECRET=cs_your_consumer_secret
   
   # MCP server port (default: 3000)
   PORT=3000
   
   # Secret API key to access this MCP server
   MCP_API_KEY=your_secret_api_key_here 
   

🚀 Run the Server

node server.js

After starting, you should see:

✅ MCP HTTP (Express) server is up and running at http://localhost:3000
   The RPC endpoint is accessible at http://localhost:3000/rpc

💻 Usage Examples

Replace your_secret_api_key_here with the actual value of MCP_API_KEY you set in the .env file.

1. Get Products (Top 3):

3. Update Product Description (Using payload-http.json):

• First, ensure the payload-http.json file exists and contains content like this:

⚠️ Important Note

Currently, the server uses a placeholder function handleWooCommerceRequest. Actual WooCommerce integration needs to be implemented here.
