Resources

• List and access notes via note:// URIs.
• Each note has a title, content, and metadata.
• Access content using a simple plain text document type.

Tools

• create_note - Create a new text note.
  • Title and content are required parameters.
  • Store the note in the server state.

Prompts

• summarize_notes - Generate summaries of all stored notes.
  • Include all note content as embedded resources.
  • Return structured prompts for summarization by a Large Language Model (LLM).

📦 Installation

Development

Install dependencies:

npm install

Build the server:

npm run build

Development with automatic rebuild:

npm run watch

Configuration

To use with Claude Desktop, add the server configuration:

On MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

🛠️ Debugging

Since MCP servers communicate via standard input and output, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using MCP Inspector, which is available as a package script:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL in the browser to access debugging tools.
