📦 Installation

1. Clone the repository.
2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file based on .env.example:

HUNTRESS_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
HUNTRESS_API_SECRET=your_api_secret_here

4. Build the server:

npm run build

📚 Documentation

Configuration

The server requires the following environment variables:

• HUNTRESS_API_KEY: Your Huntress API key.
• HUNTRESS_API_SECRET: Your Huntress API secret key. These can be obtained in the API credentials section under <your_account_subdomain>.huntress.io of your Huntress account.

Rate Limiting

The server implements a rate limit of 60 requests per minute (based on a sliding window) for the Huntress API. This means:

• A maximum of 60 requests can be made within each 60 - second period.
• The window slides, so if the 1st request is submitted at T0 and the 60th request is submitted at T30, the 61st request must wait until T60.

Error Handling

The server handles various error scenarios:

• Invalid API credentials
• Exceeding the request rate limit
• Invalid request parameters
• API response errors
