This MCP server exposes the following tools, corresponding to the endpoints of the WatchBase API:

• search: Search the database based on brand names, family names, watch names, and reference numbers (matching whole words).
• search_refnr: Search the database based on reference numbers (allowing partial matches).
• list_brands: Retrieve a list of all watch brands in the database.
• list_families: Retrieve a list of all families for a given brand ID.
• list_watches: Retrieve a list of specific watches based on the brand ID (and an optional family ID). Can be filtered by the update date.
• get_watch_details: Retrieve all detailed information about a specific watch based on its WatchBase ID.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

To use this MCP server, you need the following:

1. Node.js and npm installed on your system.
2. Access to the WatchBase API and a valid API key.

Steps

1. Download and install Node.js and npm: Node.js Download Page
2. Clone the code repository of this MCP server:

   git clone [repository-url]
   

3. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd watchbase-mcp-server
   

4. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   

5. Start the server:

   npm start

Configuration

In the config.json file, you need to configure the following settings:
