A professional implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that generates high-quality images through Google's Imagen 3.0 model combined with the Gemini API. Built with TypeScript and designed for seamless integration with Claude Desktop and other MCP-compatible hosts.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js version 18 or higher
• Google Gemini API key
• Claude Desktop or other MCP-compatible hosts

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/gemini-imagen-mcp-server.git
cd gemini-imagen-mcp-server

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the TypeScript code:

npm run build

⚙️ Configuration

1. Add configuration to claude_desktop_config.json:

2. Replace placeholders:
   • <Project directory path>: Your project path
   • Your Gemini API key: Your Gemini API key

🛠️ Available Tools

1. generate_images

Generate images using Google's Imagen 3.0 model.

Parameters:

• prompt (required): Text description of the image
• numberOfImages (optional): Number of images to generate, default is 1

2. view_logs

View server logs.

💻 Usage Examples

# Run the following command in the terminal to generate images
node generate_images.js --prompt "A flying bird" --numberOfImages 3

# View logs
node view_logs.js
