🚀 FastAPI Test Server

This repository contains a test server based on FastAPI, designed for API development and testing.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.7+
• pip (Python package installer)

Installation

# Create a virtual environment
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate

# Install FastAPI and Uvicorn (ASGI server)
pip install fastapi uvicorn

# Optional dependencies
pip install python-multipart  # For form data
pip install pydantic[email]   # For email validation

Basic Example

Create a file named main.py with the following content:

from fastapi import FastAPI

app = FastAPI()

@app.get("/")
def read_root():
    return {"Hello": "World"}

@app.get("/items/{item_id}")
def read_item(item_id: int, q: str = None):
    return {"item_id": item_id, "q": q}

Run the Server

uvicorn main:app --reload

The server will run at http://127.0.0.1:8000
