The Mempool MCP Server is a server based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. It provides Bitcoin network data query functions for AI clients through a simple input/output interface. This data includes block information, transaction details, mining pool statistics, fee suggestions, etc. All data comes from the mempool.space API.

To connect locally for privacy and unlimited calls, you can pass the base mempool API URL as an environment config from your local Bitcoin node such as Umbrel, MyNode, etc. See below:

🛠️ Using a Local Build

Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/alexandresanlim/mempool-mcp-server.git

Install and build:

npm install
npm run build
npm run server

Configure your MCP client:
