Access your Spider Chat flows, memories, and facts from Claude Desktop.

🚀 Quick Start

This guide will walk you through the steps to set up and use the Spider Chat MCP Server with Claude Desktop.

📦 Installation

1. Install Dependencies

npm install
npm run build

2. Obtain Your API Token

1. Navigate to https://nonlinearaichat-production.up.railway.app/.
2. On the Dashboard, click on API Tokens.
3. Generate a New Token.
4. Copy the generated token.

3. Configure Claude Desktop

• macOS: Edit the file at ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json.
• Windows: Edit the file at %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json.

Add the following configuration, replacing path and token with your actual values:

To get the absolute path, run the following command:

cd mcp-server && pwd

4. Restart Claude Desktop

Completely quit Claude Desktop and then reopen it.

Basic Usage

You can ask Claude the following questions:

• "Search my Spider Chat flows for machine learning"
• "Show me my most important memories"
• "List all my flow groups"
• "Find everything about Python in my Spider Chat"

🔧 Troubleshooting

Claude doesn't detect the server

• Ensure you are using an absolute path (not relative).
• Confirm that you have run npm run build.
• Completely quit and restart Claude Desktop.

Authentication fails

• Verify that your token is correct.
• Generate a new token from the dashboard.

Connection error

• Make sure there is no trailing slash in the URL, e.g., https://nonlinearaichat-production.up.railway.app.
