This is a TypeScript-based MCP server that implements an unreasonable thinking system. It helps generate non-traditional solutions in the following ways:

• Generate unreasonable ideas that challenge common sense
• Create thinking branches in different directions
• Track and organize thoughts in conversations

• generate_unreasonable_thought - Generate new non-traditional ideas
  • Accept problem descriptions and optional parameters
  • Can build on or rebel against existing thoughts
• branch_thought - Create new thinking branches
  • Support different directions: more extreme, opposite, off-topic
  • Maintain a connection with the source thought
• list_thoughts - View all ideas in the conversation
  • Can be filtered by branch
  • Display relationships between thoughts

📦 Installation

To use with Claude Desktop, add the server configuration:

Debugging

Since MCP servers communicate via stdio, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using MCP Inspector, which is available as a package script:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access the debugging tools in the browser.
