This is a guide on how to use the BICScan Risk Scoring MCP Server. You can choose to use Python's uv, Docker, or uvx based on your environment.

Basic Usage

You can choose to use uv, Docker, or uvx according to your environment.

1. Using uv

Prerequisites

1. Python 3.10 or higher
2. uv 0.6.x
3. git

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/ahnlabio/bicscan-mcp

Configure claude_desktop_config.json

Add the following content to the end of the file. Make sure to replace:

• YOUR_BICSCAN_REPO_DIR_HERE: For example, set it to C:\\Users\\ABC\\repo\\bicscan-mcp or /home/abc/repo/bicscan-mcp
• YOUR_BICSCAN_API_KEY_HERE: A free API key obtained from https://bicscan.io

2. Using Docker

Prerequisites

1. Docker environment

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/ahnlabio/bicscan-mcp

Build the Docker image

Simply run make in the repository directory to build the Docker image.

Configuration

Add the following content to the end of the file. Make sure to replace:

📚 Documentation

Obtaining an API Key

1. Visit https://bicscan.io
2. Register or log in to your account
3. Find the API key generation option in the developer documentation
4. Replace YOUR_BICSCAN_API_KEY_HERE with the key you just obtained
5. Restart Claude Desktop
