📦 Installation

Configuration via uvx

1. Add the following JSON configuration to your client configuration file:

Cloning via Git

1. Clone the repository and add this server in the Claude desktop environment (the entry file is main.py). Add the following JSON configuration to the Claude desktop:

Please adjust the paths according to your actual environment.

Setting a Custom SearXNG Address

2. Set the environment variable SEARXNG_URL to the URL of the SearXNG server (the default value is http://localhost:8080).
3. Run your MCP client to search the web via SearXNG.

⚠️ Important Note

If you are using the Claude desktop environment, terminate the previous process (using the Task Manager or a similar tool) before running the server.
