✨ Features

Search Tool

• duckduckgo_search - Conduct web searches using the DuckDuckGo API.
  • Required parameter: query (Search query, up to 400 characters).
  • Optional parameter: count (Number of results, ranging from 1 - 20, default is 10).
  • Optional parameter: safeSearch (Safety level: strict/loose/off, default is loose).
  • Returns formatted Markdown search results.

Rate Limiting

• Maximum 1 request per second.
• Maximum 15000 requests per month.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js >= 18
• pnpm >= 8.0.0

Installation Steps

# Install pnpm globally if not already installed
npm install -g pnpm

# Install project dependencies
pnpm install

Build and Run

Build the server:

pnpm run build

Automatically rebuild during development:

pnpm run watch

Debugging

Since MCP servers communicate via stdio, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using MCP Inspector, which is provided as a package script:

pnpm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access browser debugging tools.
