This is an implementation of a JSON Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for querying and manipulating JSON data. This server enables Large Language Models (LLMs) to interact with JSON data through a set of standardized tools.

📦 Installation

# Use npx with a specific version (recommended)
npx @gongrzhe/server-json-mcp@1.0.3

# Install a specific version globally
npm install -g @gongrzhe/server-json-mcp@1.0.3

# Run after global installation
server-json-mcp

• Query:

  • Query JSON data using JSONPath syntax, supporting extended operations.
  • Input:
    • url (string): The URL of the JSON data source.
    • jsonPath (string): A JSONPath expression with optional operations.

• Filter:

  • Filter JSON data using conditions.
  • Input:
    • url (string): The URL of the JSON data source.
    • jsonPath (string): A basic JSONPath expression.
    • condition (string): The filtering condition.

📚 Documentation - Configuration

To configure this server for use with Claude Desktop, add the following to the claudius.config.js file:

}

If you run the server directly via Node.js instead of installing the package globally, make sure to provide the full path.

🔧 Technical Details - Development

To run this server in a development environment, execute the following command:

npm run dev

Then you can use the server by accessing http://localhost:3000.
