📦 Tools

The server implements the following tools:

get_github_trending_repositories

Get GitHub trending repositories. It supports the following parameters:

• language (optional): Filter repositories by programming language (e.g., "python", "javascript").
• since (optional): Filter by time period ("daily", "weekly", "monthly"). Default is "daily".
• spoken_language (optional): Filter by spoken language.

Prerequisites

Installation Steps

Install the package:

pip install mcp-github-trending

Claude Desktop Configuration

Running the Project

Debugging

Using MCP Inspector

You can start the debug mode with the following command:

uvicorn --reload src.app:app --host 0.0.0.0 --port 8090
