Your friendly local Ethereum node whisperer! A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that helps Claude communicate with Ethereum nodes.

🌟 What is Veri5ight?

Veri5ight is an interface that directly connects Claude to Ethereum nodes, offering the following features:

• 💰 Real-time query of any ERC20 token balance and delegation information
• 🔎 Query of detailed smart contract information
• 🚀 Direct access to nodes without rate limits
• 🔒 Private and secure interactions

🚀 Quick Start

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/5ajaki/veri5ight.git

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Build the project
npm run build

⚙️ Configuration

1. Copy .env.example to .env:

cp .env.example .env

2. Add your Ethereum node URL (example - please update to your actual node URL and port):

ETH_NODE_URL="http://localhost:8545"  # Example - replace with your own node URL and port

3. Configure Claude Desktop:

Note: The path in step 3 must point to the compiled index.js file in the dist directory generated after you run npm run build.

Startup Options

By default, Veri5ight will automatically start with the Claude Desktop application. If you want to start it on demand:

1. Remove the postbuild script from package.json (this script is used for automatic startup).
2. Run it manually:

node dist/index.js

🎮 Available Tools

ethereum_getTokenBalance

Query the balance of any ERC20 token in real-time using an address or ENS name.

Example:

Claude, please tell me how much UNI balance vitalik.eth has?

ethereum_getTokenDelegation

Check the delegation information of governance tokens.

Example:

Claude, who did nick.eth delegate its tokens to?

ethereum_getContractInfo

Get detailed information about any smart contract.

Example:

Claude, please tell me the information of this contract: nick.eth

ethereum_getRecentTransactions

View recent transactions of any address. Note: This function scans the last 10 blocks to find transactions involving the specified address.

Example:

Claude, please list the recent transactions of myaddress.eth.

If you perform a large number of operations on the Ethereum network, it is recommended to use a local node or a reliable RPC provider.

Keep your node software and related dependencies up to date to ensure optimal performance and security.

🔧 Technical Details

Veri5ight utilizes the Ethereum JSON-RPC interface to interact with nodes. Through the MCP protocol, Claude can conveniently call various Ethereum functions without directly handling low-level RPC calls.
