📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js version v16 or higher.
• Claude Desktop version.
• Free API keys:
  • Etherscan - For contract verification and analysis.
  • Moralis - For wallet profitability and token balance queries.
  • Codex - For token price history and advanced analysis.
  • RapidAPI - Provides Twitter search functionality.
  • (Optional) An RPC service provider such as Infura or use a free public endpoint.

Installation Steps

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/0xGval/evm-tools-mcp
   cd evm-tools-mcp
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Create a configuration file:

   • Copy mcp.json.example to mcp.json.
   • Edit mcp.json and enter the API keys and correct file paths.

4. Configure the Claude Desktop version:

   • On Windows systems: Create or edit %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json.
   • Copy the contents of the mcp.json file into this configuration file.

Contract Analysis

• auditContract(address: "0x..."): Conduct a security audit of smart contracts.

Assets and Tokens

• getEthBalance(address: "0x..."): Get the ETH balance.
• getTransactionCount(address: "0x..."): Get the number of transactions (non - competition count).
• getTokensBalance(address: "0x...", chain: "eth", blockNumber: null): Get the token balance of a specified address on the Ethereum network.

Transaction Records

• getTokenTxByAddress(address: "0x..."): Find all relevant token transaction records by address.
• getEthTxByAddress(address: "0x..."): Find all relevant ETH main - net transaction records by address.

📚 Documentation

Adding New Tools

1. Create or modify files in the tools/ directory.
2. Register new tools in main.js.
3. Restart the Claude Desktop version to display the updates.
