🚀 UV and Claude Desktop Configuration Guide

This guide provides a step - by - step process to configure UV and integrate it with Claude Desktop, enabling seamless interaction with the Adfin API tools.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.10 or higher is required.

📦 Installation

Step 1: Install uv

• MacOS/Linux:

  curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh
  

• Windows:

  powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
  

Step 2: Configure Claude Desktop

1. Download Claude Desktop.
2. Open Claude and go to Settings > Developers > Edit Configuration.
3. Modify the claude_desktop_config.json file as follows:

4. Restart Claude Desktop.

⚠️ Important Note

The first time you open Claude Desktop with these settings configured, it may take 10 - 20 seconds for the Adfin tool to appear, as it needs to install the required packages and download the latest Adfin API documentation.

💡 Usage Tip

Each time you start Claude Desktop, the latest Adfin API tools will be available to your AI assistant.
