🚀 Clojars MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides tools to fetch dependency information from Clojars, the community artifact repository for Cлопаре such as Cline, Roo Code, Cody, and Claude Desktop.

When this MCP server is configured in Claude's settings, it automatically becomes an available option in the "Connected MCP Servers" section under Claude's system prompt. This makes Claude aware of the server's capabilities and allows it to use the provided tools via the use_mcp_tool command.

📦 Installation

Using npx

The simplest way to run the Clojars MCP Server is through npx:

npx clojars-deps-server

You can also install it globally:

npm install -g clojars-deps-server

Using Smithery

To automatically install the Clojars dependency server via Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install clojars-deps-server --client claude

Manual Installation

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/clojars-deps-server.git
cd clojars-deps-server

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the server:

npm run build

4. Add the server to your Claude configuration:

For the VSCode Claude plugin, add it to cline_mcp_settings.json (usually located at ~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/globalStorage/saoudrizwan.claude-dev/settings/ on macOS):
