check_domains

Check the registration status of multiple domains.

Input Format

Parameters:

• domains: An array of strings containing the domains to be checked.
  • Each domain has a maximum length of 255 characters.
  • A maximum of 50 domains are allowed per request.
  • Empty domains are not allowed.

Response fields:

• results: An object with domains as keys and their check results.
  • registered: A boolean value.
    • true: The domain is registered.

Error Handling

The tool returns an error in the following cases:

1. An empty list of domains.
2. More than 50 domains are included in the request.
3. Empty domains.
4. Domains exceed the 255 - character limit.
5. Result serialization fails.

🔧 Technical Details

Performance Considerations

1. Domain checks are performed sequentially, taking approximately 0.3 - 1 seconds per domain.
2. A maximum of 50 domains are processed per request to prevent resource exhaustion.
3. The WHOIS query timeout is set to 10 seconds.
4. DNS queries serve as a backup in case of WHOIS query failures.

Error Handling Strategy

1. Input validation: Conduct comprehensive validation before processing.
2. Dual verification: WHOIS as the primary method, DNS as a backup.
3. Timeout management: Set reasonable timeouts for all network operations.
