🚀 Google News Server

A Google news server implemented based on Node.js and the MCP protocol. This README provides a comprehensive guide for installation, configuration, and usage.

🚀 Quick Start

Install Dependencies

Run the following command in the terminal:

npm install

Configure Environment Variables

Edit your claude_desktop_config.json file and add the following content (adjust according to the actual path):

Build the Project

Run the following command to build the project:

npm run build

Start the Service

Run the following command to start the server:

npm start

🛠️ Troubleshooting

1. Invalid API Key

   • Check if the API key configuration in the claude_desktop_config.json file is correct.
   • Confirm that the API key is enabled in the SERP API console.

2. Request Failure

   • Check the network connection status.
   • Ensure that the API call quota has not exceeded the limit.
   • Verify that the request parameter format is correct.

Automatic Installation with Smithery

Installation with MCP-get Tool

Run the following command:

If you are using an older version of Windows PowerShell, run Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process first.
