📦 Installation

Requirements

You need UV, a fast Python package and project manager.

If UV is not installed:

# Using Homebrew on macOS
brew install uv

Or

# On macOS and Linux.
curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

# On Windows.
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"

Next, install the MCP server:

# Install from source code
uv pip install git+https://github.com/CooKey-Monster/EbayMcpServer.git

Environment Variables

The following environment variables are required; you can find them on the Ebay Developer Portal.

This server provides one tool:

• list_auction: Scan Ebay for auctions. This tool is very useful for finding auctions on Ebay.
  • Required parameter: "query" (search query)
  • Optional parameter: "amount" (number of results)
    • Default is 0
  • Returns the result of the Ebay REST API
