🚀 MCP Apollonia

This repository contains a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides Claude with access to Solana blockchain data through the Helius API. The server enables Claude to perform operations such as checking wallet balances, retrieving blockchain information, and interacting with tokens and NFTs.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js: Version 14.0 or higher is required.
• Helius API Key: Sign up for free at Solana Devnet.
• Claude Desktop Application

Installation

git clone https://github.com/dcspark/mcp-helius.git
cd mcp-helius
npm install

Configuration

Add to Claude Configuration File

Add the following content to the ~/.config/claude/v2/tools.json file:

Run Locally

HELIUS_API_KEY=your-helius-api-key node build/index.js

You can also run it directly using npx:

Usage Instructions

After configuration, restart the Claude Desktop application. Now, Claude can access Solana blockchain tools. You can ask Claude to perform the following operations:

1. Check wallet balance:

   What is the balance of the Solana wallet 5YNmS1R9nNSCDzb5a7mMJ1dwK9uHeAAF4CmPEwKgVWr8?
   

2. Get the current block height:

   What is the current block height of Solana?
   

3. Get NFT information:

   Which NFTs does the wallet address 5YNmS1R9nNSCDzb5a7mMJ1dwK9uHeAAF4CmPEwKgVWr8 own?
   

Claude will use the MCP server to directly obtain this information from the Solana blockchain via Helius.

• helius_get_slot: Get the current slot of the Solana blockchain.
• helius_get_latest_blockhash: Get the latest block hash of the Solana blockchain.
• helius_get_transaction: Get transaction information by signature.
• helius_get_account_info: Get information about a Solana address.
• helius_get_signatures_for_address: Get transaction signatures related to an address.
• helius_get_multiple_accounts: Get information about multiple Solana accounts.
• helius_get_program_accounts: Get accounts owned by a program.

Token Operations

• helius_get_token_accounts_by_owner: Get token accounts owned by a Solana address.
• helius_get_token: Get token information.
• helius_get_tokens_for_address: Get all tokens related to an address.

NFTs and Digital Assets

• helius_get_nfts_for_address: Get all NFTs for a wallet address.
• helius_get_nft_by_mint: Get NFT information by mint address.

Blockchain System Information

• helius_get_block_time: Get block time information.

Transaction and Fee Methods

• helius_get_fee_calculator_for_blockhash: Get the fee calculator based on a block hash.
• helius_get_recent_blockhashes: Get a list of recent block hashes.

Development

Adding New Tools

To add new tools to the MCP server:

1. Define the tool in src/tools.ts.
2. Create the corresponding handler function in the appropriate handler file.
3. Add the handler to the handlers object in src/tools.ts.
