This MCP server provides tools and resources for managing project to-do lists.

This server allows you to perform the following operations:

• View the current to-do list.
• View detailed information about a specific to-do item.
• Add a new to-do item.
• Update the status of a to-do item.
• Delete a to-do item.
• Update the detailed information of a to-do item.

Resources

• todo://list: Provides a list of all to-do items, including their status, title, priority, and tags.
• todo://item/{todo_id}: Provides detailed information about a specific to-do item, including status, priority, creation date, project, tags, and description.

Tools

• add_todo: Adds a new to-do item to the list.

  • Parameters:
    • title: The title of the to-do item (required).
    • description: The detailed description of the to-do item (required).
    • project: The project name (optional).
    • priority: The priority, from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) (optional, default: 1).
    • tags: A list of tags associated with the to-do item (optional).

• update_todo_status: Updates the status of an existing to-do item.

  • Parameters:
    • id: The ID of the to-do item to update (required).
    • status: The new status (pending/in_progress/completed) (required).

• delete_todo: Deletes a to-do item from the list.

  • Parameters:
    • id: The ID of the to-do item to delete (required).

• update_todo: Updates the detailed information of an existing to-do item.

  • Parameters:
    • id: The ID of the to-do item to update (required).
    • title: The new title (optional).
    • description: The new description (optional).
    • project: The new project name (optional).
    • priority: The new priority, from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) (optional).
    • tags: The new list of tags (optional).

📦 Installation

Before running the server, you need to install the required Python packages. You can use pip to install them:

pip install -r requirements.txt

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

To run the server, execute the coding_todo.py script:

python coding_todo.py

This will start the MCP server, making its tools and resources available to MCP clients.
