This project is an MCP integration for DevHub CMS, which enables seamless content management within the DevHub ecosystem.

📦 Installation

You need to install the uv package manager on your local system.

Manual Configuration for Claude Desktop

To use this server with the Claude Desktop app, add the following configuration to the "mcpServers" section of the claude_desktop_config.json file:

Installation with Claude Code

Claude Code supports installation via the following command:

🔧 Local Development

To perform local development using MCP, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/devhub-cms-mcp.git
   cd devhub-cms-mcp
   

2. Install dependencies:

   uv pip install -r requirements.txt

Basic Usage

To start the MCP, run:

uv run devhub_cms_mcp:app

Provided Tools

The following are the main features provided by the MCP:

Content Management

• Create Content: You can generate new content by calling the create_content method.
• Update Content: Use the update_content method to modify existing content.

Media Management

• Upload Media: Utilize the upload_media method to upload files to the system. Supported formats include JPEG, PNG, and WebP.

Usage with Large Language Models (LLMs)

This MCP is designed to work with large language models that support the Model Context Protocol. It allows LLMs to manage content in DevHub CMS without directly integrating the API.

🧪 Testing

This package includes a test suite that performs functional tests by simulating requests to the DevHub API without actually calling the API.

Running Tests

First, install the test dependencies:

uv pip install -e ".[test]"

Run the tests:

uv run pytest

Get detailed output and a coverage report:

uv run pytest -v --cov=devhub_cms_mcp
