📦 Installation

Automatic Installation via Smithery

Automatically install Apple MCP for Claude Desktop via Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli@latest install @Dhravya/apple-mcp --client claude

... and for cursor:

npx -y @smithery/cli@latest install @Dhravya/apple-mcp --client cursor

Manual Installation

If you don't want to use Smithery, you can manually install it by following these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Dhravya/apple-mcp.git
   cd apple-mcp
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Start the service:

   node index.js
   

✨ Features

• Messages:

  • Send messages using the Apple Messages app.
  • Read out the message content.

• Notes:

  • List all notes.
  • Search for and read notes in the Apple Notes app.

• Contacts:

  • Search for contacts to send messages.

• Mail:

  • Send emails with multiple recipients (to, cc, bcc) and file attachments.
  • Search for emails using custom queries, mailbox selection, and result limits.
  • Schedule emails for a future time.
  • List and manage scheduled emails.
  • Check the number of unread emails globally or by mailbox.

• Reminders:

  • List all reminders and reminder lists.
  • Search for reminders containing specific text.
  • Create new reminders with an optional due date and note.
  • Open specific reminders in the Reminders app.

• Calendar:

  • Search for calendar events using a custom date range.
  • List upcoming events.
  • Create new calendar events with details such as title, location, and notes.
  • Open specific calendar events in the Calendar app.

• Web Search:

  • Search the web using DuckDuckGo.
  • Retrieve and process content from search results.

• Maps:

  • Search for locations and addresses.
  • Save locations as favorites.
  • Get directions between two points.
  • Place waypoints on the map.
  • Create and list guides.
  • Add places to guides.

Basic Usage

After installation, you can use these features by configuring the MCP proxy. Here are the specific steps:

1. Configure the MCP proxy to point to your Apple device.
2. Set up the corresponding API calls in your AI model.
