The server implements one tool:

• query_exchange_rates: Query the exchange rate between two currencies based on their three - letter currency codes.
  • It requires a mandatory string parameter "from_code" (the three - letter currency code of the currency you want to convert).
  • It requires a mandatory string parameter "to_code" (the three - letter currency code of the target currency you want to convert to).

📦 Installation

This server requires Python 3.10 or higher. Install the dependencies using uv (recommended) or pip.

Using uv (Recommended)

When using uv, no specific installation is required. We will use uvx to directly run jexchange - mcp - server.

uvx jexchange-mcp-server

Using pip

Alternatively, you can install jexchange - mcp - server via pip:

pip install jexchange-mcp-server

After installation, you can run it as a script using the following command:

python -m jexchange_mcp_server

Debugging
